Chaos in Novi Sad: Vučić turns fairgrounds into SNS call center, opposition activists attempt to enter building

(Patria) - At the Novi Sad Fairgrounds, in front of the entrance to the SNS call center, a minor clash occurred between activists and opposition politicians and the police.

According to an N1 Serbia reporter on site, opposition activists are trying to enter the fairgrounds building after it was discovered earlier today that the Novi Sad Fairgrounds, similar to the Banjica Sports Center in Belgrade, has been turned into an SNS call center.

N1 reports that the doors are being guarded by police officers and one person in civilian clothes. At least three police patrols have arrived at the scene.

Borislav Novaković from the People's Movement of Serbia is also there. He reminded that the City Election Commission is located at the same place, and that the votes of the people of Novi Sad will be counted there tonight.

Several people ran out of another exit of the Novi Sad Fairgrounds with equipment in their hands, N1 reports.

Local Radio 21 broadcast footage of thick smoke billowing towards the opposition activists and water being aimed at them from inside the room.
