Some think the referendum will not have any negative consequences but I do not share their opinion. If the state institutions decide to tolerate it instead of reacting to it, it could create a precedent that may lead to further destruction of BiH, Kresimir Zubak said in an interview for Vecernji List.
Zubak was the president of Federation BiH when the Dayton Accord was signed. He is a jurist with a long experience, lately working as a lawyer.
- Should the undisputable decision of the constitutional court about the referendum be ignored, then some cantons or municipalities could decide to act in the same manner. Therefore, relevant institutions should not let this become a precedent that can be overcome by some political agreement, Zubak warned.
