Special forces of the RS Ministry of Interior came last night to Srebrenica from Banja Luka and took hold of the electoral papers (votes), i.e. they took the electoral process into their own hands.
Mladen Grujicic, the candidate of the Serb group of parties for the mayor of Srebrenica, reported yesterday to the RS Ministry of Interior that he allegedly found 'the electoral papers in the garbage container', which triggered the Special Forces to come to Srebrenica.
Suad Arnautovic, the member of the Central Election Committee BiH, confirmed this earlier today for the local media.
- That is against the Election Law of BiH. A session of the Collegium of CIK is under way and I'm speaking here as an individual who wants to advise the public about the events in Srebrenica, so I'm not speaking on behalf of CIK, Arnautovic said, adding that, according to his sources, the special police has also taken control over the municipal building in Srebrenica and that, all together it puts an extraordinary pressure on CIK:
The candidate of pro Bosniak parties, Camil Durakovic, confirmed to Patria that the special forces arrived in Srebrenica last night.
- This is terrifying. The pressure is immense, Durakovic said and added:
- I appeal to the citizens of Srebrenica, those who live there, and those who live elsewhere, do not let yourselves be influenced by the false panic being created in our town. Stay calm and dignified, without fear, Durakovic added.
