Who is deceiving whom: EU praising BH politicians, the citizens at their worst

While the EU representatives praise the work of BH government, the country is at its worst.

While the EU representatives praise the work of BH government, the country is at its worst.

World analysts do not exclude the possibility of new conflicts in the region. Fearing the worst scenario, the citizens have forgotten for a brief moment the economic crisis.

The experts of the Civil Initiatives Center published the data which showed that the government of BH last year fulfilled only 43% of the Reform Agenda, with almost no activity in the realms of rule of law or business improvement.

It was also revealed that the Prime Minister Novalic faked the data about real numbers of the employed. The number of 25,000 of new jobs do not come even close to the reality. Wishful thinking.

The state Prime Minister Zvizdic always boasts about results when in Brussels. He gets patted on the back by the Brussels officials, they praise him for BiH achieving 'unbelievable' success on its way to the EU. We hear 'Ode to Joy' even when they come to visit.

BH citizens do not care about music right now as they are the ones living down under, in the real world, where there's no faked data but the life that gets harder each day.

The data about the country debt has also been faked. According to the analysis 'State of the nation', nobody is in the possession of accurate information as to the actual debt of BiH.  At the end of 2015, external and internal debt of BiH reached a historical maximum of 43% of the total GDP, and it is likely to grow towards the end of 2016. Should unknown debts be added to the total, the debt of BH becomes a real catastrophe. The faithful would say – only God can help us.

Even worse than the debt is the way it is being paid back. The relevant theory has it that any debt is to be paid back from deficit and since deficit in BH can be found only in nonsense, the debt is paid back from the income in the entity budgets. We return the budget deficit by new loans and thus get a 'perfect circle'. Until we fall off the circle.

Meanwhile, the citizens drink illusion about the progress. They trust EU officials. They trust Johannes Hahn who seems to read only regime media, where forecast never predicts rain in BiH. The sun shines even at night.

Those few sober people rightfully worries about the country and what happens when the banks come for their money, and when EU comes to realize that there is no progress in BiH.

Hahn will have no problem admitting to be sorry for being deceived by BH government.

We shall then suffer consequences of Dodik's referendum, Covic's third channel and Izetbegovic's lip service politics.

And we are getting close to that scenario.

As long as it does not happen around New Year's eve, not to spoil parties and celebrations. After that, whatever will be, will be.
