Komsic for Patria: It is not true that we are closing DF

President of Democratic Front (DF), Zeljko Komsic, denies allegations that he is preparing the ground for closing his party.

In a statement for Patria, Komsic briefly said that the information about closing the DF published by some web portals is false.

Some media wrote that Zeljko Komsic, President of the Democratic Front, at the last presidency session presented to the management team a draft proposal that anticipates closing of the party. The media also claimed that Komsic has already planned it all out and that, once the DF is closed, he and several other people from the DF will get high positions in their new – old party, that being SDP.

Komsic seemed amused by the allegations:

- One hears only what he wants to hear, Komsic said for Patria, implying that there are forces who wish for closing of the DF.

The Democratic Front confirms that they are working on a strategy document which entails embracing all left parties, movements, associations, workers, students, syndicates... to join their hands and through coordinated and synchronized program action work together against the ruling nationalists and oligarchs... to remove them from power at the next general elections.

- That part is true, and all our members and followers know that we are working hard to achieve that. Everything else is a lie, misinformation and insinuation. However, it will not stop us from realizing our intentions, which we believe are the intentions of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina – to have one BiH, which nobody will divide and tear apart, in which we all will be equal before the law.

Should that idea be enacted, those who ordered this misinformation could well switch their comfortable cabinets from which they rule for a little less comfortable accommodation, which they certainly deserve, Komsic says in his statement.
