SDP's Masic: Bakir Izetbegovic must be held accountable for family misuse of government vehicle

SDP’s political director, Damir Masic, has urged relevant investigation authorities to assess the issue of unauthorized use of the official vehicle of BH Presidency by Sebija Izetbegovic, wife of Bakir Izetbegovic, the Bosniak member of BH Presidency.   

- This scandalous move by Izetbegovic family is a pinnacle of privatization of the state and its institutions that they and their SDA have been doing for years. It is way too much – even if it comes from the high ranks of SDA. Those who are ready to do this cannot be expected to resign from their jobs on the account of moral responsibility or at least to apologize to the citizens, Masic says.

- Thereby I expect the relevant judiciary and law enforcement agencies in BiH to demonstrate their commitment and professionalism, and to examine the circumstances of this case without any delay, and to sanction all those who ordered and executed the misuse of the state properties. This is another proof that SDA leaders perceive BiH as its own property with which, contrary to the citizens, they can do as they please. It is the high time to end this kind of behavior that deserves to be punished, Masic underlined.
