The president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, told BiH basketball national team selector Dusko Vujosevic that he was disappointed by his statements.

In an interview with Belgrade's 'Novosti', Dodik said that Vujosevic disappointed him with his statement that the Serbs were the biggest culprits for the war in BiH.

- I'm disappointed in him as a person but also in every other way. Should he ever quit basketball, now is the right time. I don't wish anything bad for him, but why would he say such a thing just for sake of keeping his pathetic vassal position in Sarajevo? After such statement, he is permanently disqualified as far as I'm concerned, Dodik said.

The selector of the national basketball team BiH, Dusko Vujosevic, in an interview with Belgrade's 'Nedeljnik' one month ago stated that Serbia had been the biggest culprit for the war and the break-up of Yugoslavia.

- As long as this situation persists, the doors here are closed for me. And since I want to work in the region, Bosnia fits in nicely. Those Sarajevo's Bosniaks are soft people which suffered a lot and I have a lot of sympathy for them, as well as some sort of participation in the collective guilt, Vujosevic explained.

The selector of our basketball team also said that he always favored Yugoslavia, however, it was destined to fall apart as its army took side of Great Serbian ideology.

- I was for Yugoslavia and for everyone I thought was fighting for it. However, it soon became clear that it was not as simple as that – the military started consolidating along the borders of Great Serbia. Every side could pick up some blame, of course, but Serbia was the biggest country of all and it controlled the army, so it had the biggest responsibility for those wars. Somewhat bigger than others, Vujosevic said.

He also recalled the siege and shelling of Sarajevo.

- Particularly as regards Sarajevo which was so much bombarded in order to have Bosnian army concentrate there, so that other territories could be liberated. As if we were conquering Albania. That was our country – Yugoslavia! What did we achieve then? Vujosevic wondered.

Before Milorad Dodik, Vujosevic was also verbally attacked by Dodik's son Igor who accused Vujosevic of not including players Igokee in the national team.
