Becirovic: Dodik's talking about secession of the RS only increasing chances for its disappearance

'A serious Bosnian politics must be clever, courageous and persistent. The enemies of Bosnia and Herzegovina have to know that we have both the brains and strength to preserve our sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina', SDP's delegate in the Parliament BiH, Denis Becirovic, stated, responding to Dodik's statement that the Republika Srpska and Serbia will someday be – one.

Milorad Dodik told Russian Sputnjik on Sunday that he believed how 'Belgrade and Banja Luka will be in one state again in the future'.

- I would like to publicly send a message to Milorad Dodik that he'd better not mess with the state Bosnia and Herzegovina. The smaller entity Republika Srpska is not a natural, historical or democratic creation. Should Dodik continue to dream about and work on the criminal 'Great-Serbia' dreams and aspirations, then he should know that there is a bigger chance for the smaller BH entity of the Republika Srpska to disappear than it is to become a part of Serbia, Becirovic responded and added:

- Unfortunately, majority of BH politicians think that the state politics presumes 'wise silence' and elbowing for lucrative positions with profitable companies in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica, Mostar, Banja Luka, Bihac, Travnik... Due to their small-time politics and everyday preoccupations relating solely to their personal interests, they don't have time to be concerned about the protection of the state interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Except for in the pre-election year, of course. They keep silent for 3 years and then they all of a sudden experience political 'awakening'. It is up to the citizens to recognize those who have been working hard to the protection of Bosnia and Herzegovina or to yet again 'reward' those who have been doing that only in the year before the elections, Becirovic said.
