Workers of several BH companies sent a joint letter to the Director of FBiH Tax Administration Serif Isovic, by which they render him full support for the activities that he has recently started off.

Dear Mr Isovic,

We are confident that the workers of the troubled and robbed country of BiH will give their full support to your campaign i.e. limiting the accounts of public companies that owe more than 800 million KM to the state.

Over the past 20 years those companies have been run by their incompetent, corrupt and criminal management that are entirely irresponsible and cheeky. They have been for a long time dragging the country and its workers down to the bottom.

We think that workers of this country see in your action a genuine intent to stop these managers – bullies, who think of the collective property of the citizens as their own property which they treat as they please.

In every economically stable society the tax discipline is one of the key priorities, but it is only in miserable states and for their miserable workers, paying taxes is for one legal obligation and for the others 'legal obligation'.

For the latter who have understood the transformation of economic and social systems from the collective ownership to private ownership quite literally, and who have brutally taken seats and positions in public companies, that obligation and work responsibility have been unknown – they think of themselves as they are the state and thus thy don't have to account for anything to anybody.

So it often happens that 'disciplining' as regards taxes is applied onto private sector subjects who, in extremely difficult working conditions, inspite of all, are the bearers of the country's economic development. The development which mobilises a part of the working class, and puts its working force into motion, at the same time strengthening the state and the society.

On the other hand, the workers i.e. employees of the public companies have often found themselves in the position where they had to take to the streets to fight for their basic rights such as the right to health insurance which they failed to get – instead their managers indulged themselves with a new vehicle fleet.

Such behaviour has been tolerated for years – the fact that there is a mafia state in the state and that workers are cheated, in the streets, without benefits, retirement, becoming seriously ill both of injustice and of sickness. So you better be sure, Mr. Isovic, that most of the workers appreciate your work on cutting off the aforementioned luxurious life for those who are dragging us down.

The moment when those who created a debt of 800 million KM for the citizens to bear, lose their high position either by closing down the companies that have been down for a long time, or by restructuring or transforming those companies into a real sector, a real market game in which the rules are there not only to be obeyed but there are the condition for existing, that moment there will be no longer a race for those positions.

Mr. Isovic, not only the workers and citizens of this country are on your side, but also the time and the world's business, economic and social relationships. Your decision can bring one legacy to an end and determine principle for all economic subjects in BiH to adhere to, both in public and private sector.

We think that the workers as well as you Mr. Isovic are aware that you will be exposed a great deal of pressure by politicians who will not know how to calm down their party members in the loser public companies, which planned economy is based on planning dream travel tours and vacations financed by responsible tax payers who yet manage to prevent a final financial breakdown of this country.

One should not doubt that many of them will now become nervous. This will be an  excellent opportunity for all of us to learn who really want reforms and 'European roadmap' that are so often spoken about.

We will be able to see who truly works on that goal, and which political options and which streams in those political options hide nervousness while speaking loudly about respecting laws and creating a better business environment. Mr. Isovic, do not hesitate to name those. Surely working class will prepare an adequate 'reward' for them.

We can see from your action that somebody in this country has finally started doing his job responsibly and with the aim of saving the country from collaps and the citizens from a complete breakdown. That's why the support to you means the support to everyone who wish to build BiH into a healthy and mature society.

Should you persevere in your decision, it will without doubt yield results, and the RS will also have to take that road. We are certain that all the workers will back you up regardless of which ethnic group they belong to, because the issue at stake is not the issue of vital national interestsbut the issue of a prosperity or a failure of all those who wish to work here and generate good with equal opportunities for all.

We also call upon all workers and syndicates to support the action of Director of Federal Tax Administration Serif Isovic.
