Hot in Srebrenica: New evidence about fictional voters from Serbia

President of SNSD's municipal committee and a committeeman in the Assembly of Srebrenica municipality, Radomir Pavlovic, made a statement earlier in May on Mreza FTV about reduced number of Serbs on voters lists, but not for the reason explained earlier by Milos Milovanovic, President of Srebrenica Assembly.

Milovanic stated that Serbs are intentionally removed from the voters lists, even him, which was denied by material evidence that showed his name on the list.

On 10 May, Radomir Pavlovic made the following statement:

- There were such cases. Those people no longer have rights to those documents. There were documents of 5-10 years duration, there are expired and they are no longer on the voters lists. That's why the number was reduced from 14.000 to 11.000. Most of those from Serbia are from Bajina Basta, I think. Those are the people who work the land here. There are up to 1.000 of them, Pavlovic claims, by which he unintentionally uncovered Serb propaganda machine that tries in every possible way to present Bosniaks who will vote to be 'fictional voters'. Those are victims of genocide who have a right to vote regardless of where they live in the world.

Even Radomir Pavlovic who was dismissed at the end of last year from the position of President of Assembly of Srebrenica municipality, resides in Bajina Basta, Serbia.

There are 7.171 Serbs and 3.377 Bosniaks on the voters list for Srebrenica, as well as additional 2.475 Bosniaks who will vote in absence.

Serbs, or more precisely SNSD, have been securing a comfortable political position without any problem thanks to voters from Serbia. It is estimated that there are about 3.000 of those who vote in Srebrenica without any problem and at the same time live in the neighboring Serbia where they moved not only after the war but most of them 30 years before the war.

At present, there are 11 Serb committeemen in Srebrenica Assembly. From those 11, more than half live in Serbia and their legitimacy relies on those voters.

One half and more of its legitimacy SNSD relies upon people who come from Serbia. There are about 20 people who work at Srebrenica municipality and who live in Ljubovija, Bajina Basta and Bratunac. They all vote in Srebrenica. And all of them report some fictional residences in Sase, Srebrenica, in central parts of town.

However, the police never goes to those addresses to check if they really live there, yet they do that to Bosniaks on daily basis.

Additionally, the list by the Committee for social welfare clearly shows that some 80% of people from the list live in Cacak, Lazarevac, Laikovac, which means 1.000 votes at least.

It is those people that come in organized visits by buses on 2 October to vote in Srebrenica, thus deciding upon the destiny of this town and its residents. The rest of the year they never step on the grounds of BiH.

When it comes to Bosniaks, majority of voters live in Srebrenica. The rest who vote, do so by post from different parts of the world.

Until now, about 1.000 persons registered to vote from abroad, 600 of them via call centers.
