Export: BH strawberries ready for demanding European markets

Thus far BH strawberry breeders have been satisfied with the outputs of the season. Strawberry harvest is well under way on fields across country.

Last year BH agriculturalists produced about 12,000 T of berries, which puts them in the category of serious producers in Europe and outside of the continent. BiH is known for breeding quality strawberries, which is why the entire annual output ends up on demanding European market.  

It is rather curious that high quality strawberry end up on European market shelves, while BiH imports tons of strawberries of rather dubious origin.
