President of SBB and delegate in House of People of the BiH Parliament Fahrudin Radoncic was supposed to be victim of 'Istanbul Scenario', an arrest with a great deal with money, gold and luxuries on Saturday, 23 January in Istanbul, which would enlarge the existing charges against him and so that media could bury him alive without possibility to defend himself.

Radoncic bought air tickets and booked accommodation but never went to Istanbul due to unfortunate weather conditions. At least that's what Radoncic's lawyer Dragan Barbaric said when attempting to present this case as 'obvious political montage'.

According to our findings, Radoncic was supposed to travel to Istanbul on 23 January with another person, and everything else that Barbaric told media is yet another story fitting into his thesis about 'framing the leader'.

President of BiH Bakir Izetbegovic arranged a business meeting for President of SBB with Mehmet Cengiz, owner of Cengiz Insaat, a Turkish company which carried out construction work on part of Corridor 5C near Sarajevo, with Autoceste FBiH as investor.

Obviously, Radoncic planned on reaching agreement early in January for continuation of highway construction with the well-known Turkish construction company, particularly because public company Autoceste went to SBB in the sector share. However, in spite of FBiH Government's agreement, he received instruction from someone in SDA not to appoint Djenan Salcin (SBB) as Director.

Radoncic was arrested on 25 January at toll road in Tarcin.
