ZEPS and ViennaLink Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

(Patria) - The International General Business Fair ZEPS and Business Agency ViennaLink signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Vienna today.

The Memorandum was signed by General Director Elvir Ajanović on behalf of ZEPS and Director Hurem Avdić on behalf of ViennaLink.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) Samir Šibonjić, Executive Director of ZEPS Sanel Ibrić, and Director of Corporate Communications of ZEPS Adis Hasaković.

Also present were Šaban Forić - Deputy Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Austria, responsible for bilateral affairs and economic diplomacy, Tarik Altumbabić - CEO of Storsen Digital, outsourcing expert, member of the Czech-Bosnian Business Chamber, and Edin Salihhodžić - CEO of Team23, a tax advisory agency, owner of several companies.

The goal of the cooperation is to encourage companies from Austria to participate in the upcoming ZEPS, which will be held from September 2 to 5, 2026, in Zenica.

The Memorandum also confirms the mutual interest in improving economic relations, promoting and recommending business entities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special focus on the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and increasing investment and trade activities in the markets of Austria and the European Union.



The ultimate goal of the cooperation is the further growth of the ZEPS fair in the Austrian and EU markets, as well as a joint contribution to the growth of exports, investments, and economic exchange between ZDK and Bosnia and Herzegovina on one side, and the EU market as a whole.

The International General Business Fair ZEPS will be held from September 2 to 5, 2026.

With the message "BUSINESS FIRST!", the organizers of ZEPS recently invited exhibitors from across the region and Bosnia and Herzegovina to jointly contribute to the key imperative of prioritizing the development and strengthening of the economy in the Southeast European region at a time when global economic conditions are significantly changing and becoming increasingly opportune for all of us.

They added that the message "BUSINESS FIRST!", which is also the slogan of ZEPS 2026, should and must become a common commitment for all of us.

ZEPS is among the fast-growing fairs, representing today the largest multi-sectoral business platform in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the most significant in Southeast Europe.

More than 500 exhibitors from over 15 countries participate in the ZEPS fair every year. ZEPS is known for hosting an exceptionally large number of B2B meetings, with as many as 2,500 concrete business meetings recorded at the last fair alone, along with achieved concrete business agreements.

Precisely because of its reputation and regional significance, ZEPS 2026 is already positioning itself as the economic event of the year and a strategic venue for strengthening regional and international economic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the placement of products, innovations, and technologies.
