Take a look inside the Egyptian pyramids

(Patria) - The pyramids of Giza are considered one of the most famous and oldest structures in the world.

Built 4,600 years ago on the western edge of the Nile Valley, they are about fifteen kilometres from the capital of Egypt.

Although visited by around 14 million people each year, some parts remain hidden from the public's curious gaze, reports Punkufer.

Or at least that was the case until recently, that is, until Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, filmed a video inside them.

The world's most popular YouTuber was granted exclusive access to hidden chambers and ancient tombs in Giza, and he was joined on this adventure by archaeologist Zahi Hawass.

MrBeast filmed a video titled "I Spent 100 Hours Inside the Pyramids," in which he reveals details that even local residents have not had the chance to see.

He was allowed entry into the tomb of Iymery, which is adorned with ancient Egyptian drawings depicting their life nearly five millennia ago.

He also entered the Great Sphinx to check whether this monumental statue of a lion with a human head truly hides incredible treasures and gold, and he saw the final resting place of the pyramid builders.

Of course, he spent most of this adventure in the Great Pyramid, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu. Not only did he descend to the lowest point of the tomb, but he also climbed to its highest part—a place seen by only 50 people in the last 4,600 years.
