Indirect Tax Administration of BiH collected 5 billion KM in six months

(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues for the first six months of 2023 amounted to 5 billion KM, an increase of 297 million KM or 6.33% compared to the same period in 2022, when they amounted to 4 billion and 703 million KM.

In the first six months of 2023, the ITA returned 1 billion and 89 million KM to the economy, which is 93 million KM more than in the same period last year.

Net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the first six months of 2023, namely the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 3 billion and 911 million KM, an increase of 205 million KM compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Single Account for the same period in 2022.

In June 2023, 910 million KM of indirect taxes were collected, which is 41 million KM more than in June 2022.

For the financing of state institutions in the first six months of 2023, an amount of 504 million KM was allocated.

Based on the special toll for highway construction and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 101.3 million KM, Republika Srpska 66.9 million KM, and Brčko District 3.4 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in the special toll account in the amount of 0.25 KM.
