
(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues in the first two months of 2024 amounted to 1 billion and 757 million KM, an increase of 187 million KM or 11.9% compared to the same period in 2023 when they amounted to 1 billion and 570 million KM.
After the ITA returned 325 million KM in VAT refunds to the economy in the first two months of 2024, net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the first two months of 2024, namely the state, entities and the Brčko District, amounted to 1 billion and 432 million KM, an increase of 231 million KM compared to the revenues beneficiaries received from the Single Account in the same period in 2023.
For financing state institutions in the first two months of 2024, an amount of 167 million KM was allocated. All surplus indirect tax revenues ended up in the entity coffers and the Brčko District. Thus, the Federation of BiH received 772 million KM, the Republika Srpska 431 million KM, and the Brčko District 43 million KM.
Based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 35.9 million KM, the Republika Srpska 23.7 million KM, and the Brčko District 1.2 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in the special toll account in the amount of 0.25 KM.
