
(Patria) - Revenue from indirect taxes for the first five months of 2025 amounted to 4 billion and 714 million KM, an increase of 217 million KM or 4.82% compared to the same period in 2024 when they amounted to 4 billion and 497 million KM.
In the first five months of 2025, the Administration refunded VAT to taxpayers who exercised their legal right to a refund in the amount of 921 million KM.
Net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries for the first five months of 2025, namely the state, entities and Brčko District, amounted to 3 billion and 793 million KM, an increase of 4.57% compared to revenues allocated to beneficiaries for the first five months of 2024.
In May 2025, 965 million KM in indirect taxes were collected, which is 70 million KM, or 7.79% more compared to May 2024.
For financing state institutions in the first five months of 2025, an amount of 408 million KM was allocated. The remainder of collected indirect tax revenues went to the entities and Brčko District. Thus, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received 2 billion and 73 million KM from the single account, the Republika Srpska 1 billion and 161 million KM, and Brčko District 117 million KM.
In addition to the allocated revenues in the table above, based on the special toll for highway construction and construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 94 million KM, the Republika Srpska 62 million KM, and Brčko District 3 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in the special toll account in the amount of 0.25 KM.
