Over 6 Billion KM of Public Revenue Collected in Ten Months, Number of Employees in FBiH Also Growing

(Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that taxpayers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid 6,069,805,848 KM in public revenues in the period January-October 2023, which is an increase of 809,262,828 KM, or 15.38%, compared to the same period in 2022, and an increase of 1,708,402,389 KM, or 39.17%, compared to January-October 2019.

The structure of public revenue collection for the period January-October 2023 is as follows: income tax and arrears of personal income tax amount to 564,120,258 KM, profit tax and arrears of profit tax amount to 552,879,240 KM, real estate and rights transfer tax amounts to 77,727,881 KM, property, inheritance, and gift tax was collected in the amount of 39,211,539 KM, arrears from other taxes were collected in the amount of 398,793 KM, fees and charges were collected in the amount of 637,825,062 KM, fines were collected in the amount of 49,932,948 KM, membership fees were collected in the amount of 10,728,854 KM, other public revenues were collected in the amount of 4,715,576 KM.

In the period January-October 2023, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance were collected in a total amount of 4,130,390,094 KM.

The structure of contributions for the period January – October 2023 includes:
- contributions for pension and disability insurance in the amount of 2,313,255,716 KM,
- contributions for health insurance in the amount of 1,626,096,436 KM,
- contributions for unemployment insurance in the amount of 191,037,942 KM.

The number of employed persons by place of residence of the employee as of October 31, 2023, is 545,038. Compared to the published data on the number of employed persons as of October 31, 2022, when the number of employed persons was 539,551, this number is higher by 5,487, and compared to the previously published data on the number of employed persons as of September 30, 2023, when it was 543,863, it is higher by 1,175.

According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as of October 31, 2023, a total of 99,351 fiscal devices were installed in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through which a total turnover of 5,564,621,707.13 KM was recorded in October 2023.

Compared to October 31, 2022, the number of fiscal devices is higher by 5,087, and the recorded turnover in October 2023 is higher by 174,940,190.92 KM compared to October 2022.

The municipality with the largest number of fiscal devices as of October 31, 2023, is Centar Sarajevo Municipality, with 6,507 fiscal devices installed in its area. The municipality with the smallest number of fiscal devices as of October 31, 2023, is Dobretići Municipality, with 6 fiscal devices installed in its area.

The municipality with the highest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in October 2023 is Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality, with a total turnover of 452,672,254.20 KM recorded in its area.

The municipality with the lowest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in October 2023 is Pale Municipality, with a total turnover of 130,667.84 KM recorded in its area.
