For 11 months, Indirect Taxation Authority collected 10.5 billion KM, 1.9 billion KM returned to economy

(Patria) - Indirect tax revenues for the first eleven months of 2024 amounted to 10 billion and 498 million KM, an increase of 770 million KM or 7.91% compared to the same period in 2023, when they amounted to 9 billion and 727 million KM.

The Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) returned 1 billion and 901 million KM to the economy in the period January-November 2024.

Net collected revenues distributed to beneficiaries in the period January-November 2024, namely the state, entities, and Brčko District, amounted to 8 billion and 597 million KM, an increase of 854 million KM compared to the revenues received by beneficiaries from the Single Account for the same period in 2023.

An amount of 934 million KM was allocated for financing state institutions in the period January-November 2024. The remainder of the collected indirect tax revenues went to the entities and Brčko District. Thus, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received 4 billion and 704 million KM from the single account, Republika Srpska received 2 billion and 636 million KM, and Brčko District received 264 million KM.

Based on the special toll for highway construction and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 222 million KM, Republika Srpska received 147 million KM, and Brčko District received 8 million KM. The difference represents a reserve in the special toll account of 0.25 KM.
