Council of Ministers of BiH: Will points on eastern interconnection, oil quality, helicopters be removed...

(Patria) - The session of the Council of Ministers of BiH is scheduled for today, starting at 16:30. Before the session, a Collegium (Borjana Krišto, Zoran Tegeltija, Zukan Helez) will be held to determine the agenda items. Helez announced that he will be against certain items because Milorad Dodik cannot threaten secession while the Council of Ministers of BiH adopts projects for Republika Srpska.

According to the agenda, ministers should, if there is no change at the Collegium, consider the "South" and "New East" interconnections, the Draft Law on Foreign Affairs of BiH, the Draft Law amending the Law on the HJPC, the Proposal of the Decision on the cessation of validity of the decision on the multi-year helicopter overhaul project, the Proposal of the Decision on the procurement of helicopters for the Armed Forces of BiH, the Proposal of the Decision on financing the multi-year project of training officers of the military-record specialty aviation, the Proposal of the Decision on the quality of certain petroleum fuels, the Proposal of the Decision on the temporary ban on the export of certain wood assortments...

Regarding the Proposal of the Decision on the quality of petroleum fuels, the oil traders' association requested the withdrawal of this item, stating that the Proposal is not good enough and leaves room for manipulation.

Given the political events in Republika Srpska and the announcements of blocking institutions, it is questionable whether ministers from the Serb people will appear today.

At yesterday's session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS), conclusions were adopted confirming the commitment to the transfer of competencies, i.e., the withdrawal of consent for the establishment of certain BiH institutions, as well as the Armed Forces of BiH. However, this time the NSRS did not specify deadlines, but stated "when Republika Srpska assesses the moment".

A judge from Republika Srpska was also called to leave the Constitutional Court of BiH.

Staša Košarac did not wish to attend the Energy Summit in Neum, even though the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations is one of the sponsors, because the co-organizers are the Embassies of the USA and Great Britain.
