BiH's foreign trade goods deficit reaches 8.4 billion KM in eight months

(Patria) - Exports from BiH in the first eight months (January-August) of this year amounted to 10 billion and 524 million KM, which is 6.3 percent less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 18 billion and 948 million KM, which is 3.6 percent more.

Import coverage by exports stood at 55.5 percent, while the foreign trade goods deficit amounted to eight billion and 424 million KM, the Agency for Statistics of BiH announced.

BiH's exports to CEFTA countries amounted to one billion and 737 million KM, which is 17.3 percent less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to two billion and 211 million KM, which is 2.7 percent more. Import coverage by exports with CEFTA countries stood at 78.6 percent.

BiH's exports to EU countries amounted to seven billion and 764 million KM, which is six percent less than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 11 billion and 280 million KM, which is 5.9 percent more. Import coverage by exports with EU countries stood at 68.8 percent
