Record Draft Budget of Ilidža Municipality for 2024 Adopted at 58.42 Million KM

(Patria) - The 24th regular session of the Municipal Council was held in the multifunctional hall of Ilidža Municipality.

As the first item on the agenda, councilors considered the Draft Budget for 2024, which was adopted in the amount of 58.42 million KM. As in previous years, the positive trend of increasing budget funds continued.

The Report on the Execution of the Budget of Ilidža Municipality for the period January 1 - September 30, 2023, as well as the Periodic Financial Report for the same period, were also adopted.

The Municipal Council also supported the Decision on initiating the preparation of amendments to the Regulatory Plan "Stup Nucleus," a complex adjacent to the commercial building in Džemala Bijedića Street, and the Decision on initiating the preparation of amendments to the Regulatory Plan "Hrasnica" was considered and adopted, as well as the Decision on initiating the preparation of the Regulatory Plan "Stup I" - a residential and commercial building.

A decision was also adopted granting consent to the Municipal Mayor for concluding a contract on the purchase of real estate for the purpose of renovation and rehabilitation of the historical building - the Old Ilidža Railway Station building in Sarajevo.

In this way, the Ilidža Municipality continues activities aimed at creating preconditions for the restoration of the Old Railway Station, a building of great historical importance that was declared a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina back in 2007. The first important step on this path was taken at the end of 2022, when the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, also with the consent of the Municipal Council, signed contracts for the purchase of two apartments located in the Old Railway Station building.
