Successful Bid: AS Holding Takes Over Bosnalijek

(Patria) - AS Holding, by all accounts, has become the majority owner of the strongest Bosnian-Herzegovinian pharmaceutical company Bosnalijek d.d., Politicki.ba has learned.

According to this portal, their offer to take over this extremely valuable company has been accepted.

AS Holding will thus gain ownership of 38 percent of the shares.

Approximately 37 million KM was allocated for this acquisition. Another 16 percent of Bosnalijek shares were purchased, making it the largest acquisition in over 10 years, writes Politicki.ba.

The previous largest shareholder was KBC Euro Credit Capital with 23.67 percent.

AS Holding previously announced that with this step, the acquired company will continue to be "a symbol of domestic pharmaceutical excellence – now strengthened by a clear vision, responsible management, and capital originating from our country. This is not just a business decision – it is a strategic move for the future of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian economy."
