Traditional Christmas Concert at the National Theatre Sarajevo on January 5th, choir from Novi Sad guesting

(Patria) - The 16th Christmas Concert, organized by the Serbian Educational and Cultural Society "Prosvjeta" Sarajevo, will be held at the National Theatre Sarajevo on January 5th.

This year's Christmas Concert features a modernly conceived and artistically exceptionally attractive program, which uniquely combines spiritual music, traditional Christmas carols, and contemporary arrangements of well-known world compositions. The program is designed to offer the audience a dynamic and diverse musical experience, blending different musical traditions and styles.

Special guests at the concert are the Mixed Choir of the Academic Cultural and Artistic Society of the University of Novi Sad "Sonja Marinković", one of the most significant academic choirs in the region, recognized for its rich repertoire and contemporary approach to choral music performance. The choir will perform under the baton of Dunja Deurić-Kartalović.

In addition to the guest choir from Novi Sad, the audience can also expect performances by the string quartet "SA Sinfonietta" and the accordion duo "Accoladies".

This traditional cultural event has held an important place in Sarajevo's cultural calendar for sixteen years and represents one of the most attended musical events during the Christmas holidays.
