Aunt Zilha thanked Džeko: Your donation saved the Soup Kitchen last year

Edin Džeko, BiH national football team player and Manchester City striker, donated the amount of 10,000 KM he received for the "Šestoprilsku nagradu" award last year, in equal amounts of 5,000 KM each, to the Soup Kitchen "Stari Grad" and the Institute for Special Education and Upbringing of Children "Mjedenica", writes the BiH news agency Patria.

It is known that Edin Džeko does not like to talk publicly about his humanitarian actions, but this time the manager of the "Stari Grad" Soup Kitchen, Zilha Šeta, better known as Aunt Zilha, revealed it herself. Namely, two days ago, while in a Sarajevo cafe, Aunt Zilha approached Džeko's table and thanked Džeko very loudly for the donation.

- You helped us survive, and you have no idea what fortune you brought us with your donation. This year, thank God, we don't need it, we even have a surplus - Aunt Zilha told Edin Džeko.
