(Patria) - Switzerland is the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest held in Malmö, Sweden.
25 countries competed for the title of best, and in the end Switzerland took the victory.
In second place was Croatia, while third place went to Ukraine.
Norway fared the worst, ending up at the very bottom with 16 points, ahead of it were Austria and Slovenia with 24 and 27 points respectively.
If only the audience had decided, the victory would have gone to Croatia's representative Baby Lasagna.
Croatia received the most votes from the audience, 337, Israel won 323 points, and Ukraine 307. The winner received 226 audience points.
Although he did not win, the City of Zagreb is preparing a welcome for him.
- We invite all citizens and music lovers to greet and welcome our Marko on the main city square where a special welcome program will be organized from 1:00 PM, and those gathered will be entertained until Baby Lasagna's arrival by DJ Mario Kovač and former Croatian Eurovision representatives Let 3, Tatjana Matejaš Tajči accompanied by Ante Gela and the band, and Emilija Kokić. The host of the program is Miljenko Cvitković - Minja - they announced.
We remind that the Netherlands, i.e. their representative Joost Klein, was disqualified after an alleged incident that occurred backstage.
Namely, a woman from the production team reported Klein to the Swedish police for intimidating her. Earlier, Klein covered his face with the Dutch flag while the Israeli representative was speaking.
