All set for tomorrow's sports and entertainment spectacle: Third edition of the humanitarian race Stojčevac 5K

(Patria) - The third edition of the humanitarian race Stojčevac 5K, organized by the Ilidža Municipality, will be held tomorrow, June 22, 2024, starting at 6:30 PM.

As last year, the start and finish of the race, which last year earned the title of the most massive 5K race in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be at the well-known Ilidža picnic area.

- This year as well, the humanitarian race has attracted a large number of participants. We rightfully hope that this year's edition of the race will surpass last year's. It is especially pleasing that this year the safety conditions for race participants have been improved - unlike the first two editions, this year all runners will be greeted by a new, asphalted and arranged surface - said the head of the Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur.

In the unique ambiance of the renovated and revitalized Stojčevac, the race will be just part of a rich, all-day sports and entertainment program. The youngest visitors to Stojčevac will be able to enjoy numerous free activities.

Starting at 10 AM, the "Family Day" will begin, offering children a large number of fun activities, lasting until 3 PM.

Basketball and mini-football courts have been available for play and fun for some time, and recently also beach volleyball courts and table tennis tables. After the race, an interesting music program will follow with DJ Mahir Beathouse.

With the support of race friends, valuable and interesting prizes have been secured for the fastest in the male and female categories, as well as for the fastest men and women from Ilidža, and prizes have also been secured for the youngest and oldest race participants.

For all those who planned to come to Stojčevac by car, it is important to note that parking inside Stojčevac will be closed, and that access to the picnic area by car will be possible until 5:30 PM. For all visitors who come to Stojčevac by car, free parking will be provided across from the entrance to the picnic area.
