Official Data on Salaries of BiH Citizens to Be Published for the First Time in Mid-2024

(Patria) - The Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with entity statistical institutes, is conducting the Survey on the Structure of Earnings (ISZ) in BiH for the first time, from October 20 to December 31, 2023, and the results will be published in mid-2024.

The survey is conducted with the aim of obtaining internationally comparable data on earnings, according to individual characteristics of employees (occupation, gender, level of education, age, length of service, type of employment contract) and according to characteristics of business entities (activity, size, and form of ownership).

The mentioned indicators will be of great importance both for business entities and for external data users, given that for the first time data on monthly, annual, and lowest earnings of BiH citizens will be available, as well as data on earnings by gender, occupation, activity, etc.

The reference year for which data is collected for the Survey on the Structure of Earnings is 2022. This type of survey is conducted every four years.

The collected data are confidential and, in accordance with the provisions of Article 23 of the Law on Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BiH, No. 26/04 and 42/04), will be used exclusively for statistical purposes.
