KS Assembly Adopts Draft Budget Exceeding 1.6 Billion KM

(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton (KS) Assembly adopted the Draft Budget of KS for 2026 in the amount of 1,609,110,744 KM and the Draft Budget Execution of KS for 2026 at today's session.

A public debate will be held in the cantonal administrative bodies, local self-government units, cantonal institutions, and public enterprises and will last for 20 days.

Observations, proposals, suggestions from assembly members, and opinions of working bodies of the Assembly are submitted to the KS Government, which organizes and conducts the public debate through the Ministry of Finance.

The KS Government is obliged, after the public debate is concluded, to submit a Report on the results of the public debate to the KS Assembly, which contains the observations, proposals, and opinions.

It is also obliged to provide an explanation for the reasons why certain observations, proposals, and opinions were not accepted in the preparation of the Draft Budget of KS for 2026.
