(Patria) - After a day-long debate, the KS Assembly adopted the KS Budget for 2023 in the amount of 1,438,000,000 with 20 votes in favor.
The Assembly previously rejected all amendments from DF and SDA, while the amendments from the KS Government are an integral part of the Budget.
During the day, representatives sought clarification on budget items, and the Minister of Finance of KS, Emir Dedović, stated that KS is not over-indebted and that the debt, with new borrowing, amounts to slightly more than 500 million KM.
"I am pleased that this budget has received support, many citizens of KS are waiting for it, and whatever is not good in it, we in the Ministry of Finance will react as soon as possible, we will offer new solutions, possible reallocations or budget rebalancing," concluded Minister Dedović in his address.
The KS Assembly continues its work at 9 PM to adopt the remaining agenda items.
