REACTION FROM THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT Grošelj: Schmidt continues short-sighted policy, the international community repeats mistakes

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today's decision by High Representative Christian Schmidt and amendments to the BiH Constitution have resonated beyond the borders of our country.

Slovenian MEP Klemen Grošelj reacted on behalf of the Renew Europe group of MEPs in the European Parliament, warning that the international community is not learning from its mistakes at all.

- High Representative Christian Schmidt continues a short-sighted policy marked by good intentions but poor political judgment, forgetting that the road to hell is paved with good intentions and poor political judgment, assessed Klemen Grošelj.

- The international community needs to understand that repeating the same mistakes will not yield any positive results.

Bosnia and Herzegovina needs long-term decisions that strengthen democracy, not ad hoc - one-time solutions," Grošelj stated.
