Tender announced for the last section of the northern part of Corridor Vc

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Public Enterprise (JP) Autoceste FBiH today announced an international tender for the construction of the last section of the highway on the northern part of Corridor Vc.

This section is Ozimice - Poprikuše, 12 kilometers in length. The estimated value of the procurement of works is 300 million euros.

- By announcing the tender for the construction of the remaining 12 kilometers today, from Maglaj to Žepče, we have completed the construction of the highway in the northern part of Corridor Vc.

We plan to complete the works on this part of the Corridor by mid-2026, so the northern part of the corridor through Bosnia, from Sarajevo to the Sava River, will be fully built by then - said Elmedin Voloder, director of JP Autoceste FBiH.

The deadline for submitting bids is June 12, 2023.

The Ozimice - Poprikuše section includes the construction of nine bridges with a total length of 4,333 meters, and larger and more demanding structures are designed over the Bosna River bed, the main road, and the railway line. The route also includes the construction of five tunnels with a total length of 5,677 meters.

The planned construction period is 24 months.

The Ozimice - Poprikuše section will be financed from funds secured through the European Investment Bank (EIB) and grant funds from the European Union secured within the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).
