(Patria) - Promotion of the book "From Batons to Kulins" by authors Suad Haznadarević and Emir Medanhodžić, organized by the "Guardians of Heritage - Bassania" Foundation and the Bosnian Cultural Center of Sarajevo Canton, will be held in the BKC gallery, at Branilaca Sarajeva street no. 24, on Monday, June 10th, in Sarajevo, starting at 7 PM.
In addition to the authors, Prof. Dr. Senadin Lavić, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kico, and Prof. Mesud Hero will also speak at this event.
The book "From Batons to Kulins" discusses the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina from antiquity to the Middle Ages from the perspective of field researchers, covering a period of 1,200 years.
The authors also explore Arianism and the Bosnian Church, challenging theories about Bogomilism and asserting that the Eastern Goths brought Arianism, which significantly influenced the religious life of Bosnia. The arrival of the Avars and Slavs also played an important role in the development of central and local government, while the Franks had an influence during the time of the first Bosnian bans.
Rich photo documentation and a precise journalistic style allow readers to gain a deeper understanding of the social, religious, and customary life of that period.
All visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the book at the promotion for 40 KM, with an author's dedication. Admission is free.
