Indictment confirmed against director: Pizzeria Montana evaded taxes exceeding 800,000 KM

(Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment of the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office against Nejra Ibrović for the criminal offense of tax evasion.

Nejra Ibrović is accused of, from 2017 to 2019, in her capacity as director of the company "APNglobal", within which two catering establishments "Pizzeria Montana" operate, falsely reporting the actual turnover through fiscal cash registers.

Specifically, she is accused of underreporting turnover and, based on that, creating false tax returns and paying less tax than was due.

In this way, she evaded taxes in the amount of 872,491.46 KM. In the indictment, the acting prosecutor proposed the permanent confiscation of the illegal benefit obtained through the criminal offense, which has already been temporarily secured. For the main hearing, it is proposed to hear 16 witnesses, three experts in information-communication and financial fields, and to present more than 100 material evidence.
