FBiH Tax Administration data: Public revenues 40 percent higher compared to 2022

(Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs the public that taxpayers in the Federation of BiH paid 3,655,071,762 BAM in public revenues in the period January-June 2023, which is 493,589,097 BAM, or 15.61 percent, more compared to the same period in 2022, and 1,046,290,981 BAM, or 40.11 percent, more compared to January-June 2019.

The structure of public revenue collection for the period January-June 2023 is as follows:
-Corporate income tax and arrears of corporate income tax amount to 382,696,314 BAM,
-Personal income tax and arrears of personal income tax amount to 339,760,409 BAM,
-Real estate and rights transfer tax amounts to 48,527,492 BAM,
-Property, inheritance, and gift tax was collected in the amount of 27,876,870 BAM,
-Arrears of other taxes were collected in the amount of 295,201 BAM,
-Fees and charges were collected in the amount of 370,250,365 BAM,
-Fines were collected in the amount of 30,298,156 BAM,
-Membership fees were collected in the amount of 6,699,044 BAM,
-Other public revenues were collected in the amount of 3,557,448 BAM.

In the period January-June 2023, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance were collected in the total amount of 2,443,381,069 BAM.

In the structure of contributions for the period January-June 2023, the following were collected:
-Contributions for PIO/MIO in the amount of 1,368,191,390 BAM,
-Contributions for health insurance in the amount of 961,496,860 BAM,
-Contributions for unemployment insurance in the amount of 113,692,818 BAM.

Number of employees in the Federation of BiH

The number of employees in the Federation of BiH according to the employee's place of residence as of June 30, 2023, was 542,840. This number is higher by 5,157 compared to the data from June 30, 2022, when the number of employees was 537,683. The number of employees as of June 30, 2023, is higher by 1,756 compared to the data from May 31, 2023, when the number of employees was 541,084.

According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH as of June 30, 2023, a total of 97,870 fiscal devices were installed in the Federation of BiH, through which a total turnover of 5,037,350,825.98 BAM was recorded in June 2023.

Compared to June 30, 2022, the number of fiscal devices is higher by 5,096, and the recorded turnover in June 2023 is lower compared to June 2022 by 58,717,410.12 BAM.

The municipality with the highest number of fiscal devices as of June 30, 2023, is the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, in whose area 6,383 fiscal devices are installed. The municipality with the lowest number of fiscal devices as of June 30, 2023, is the Dobretići Municipality, in whose area 6 fiscal devices are installed.

The municipality where the highest total turnover via fiscal devices was recorded in June 2023 is the Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality, in whose area a turnover of 418,995,275.26 BAM was recorded.

The municipality where the lowest total turnover via fiscal devices was recorded in June 2023 is the Pale Municipality, in whose area a turnover of 170,313.61 BAM was recorded.
