Honorary Heart of Sarajevo Awarded to Stellan Skarsgård

(Patria) - As recognition for his exceptional contribution to the film industry and outstanding acting career, Stellan Skarsgård was awarded the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo tonight at the Coca-Cola Summer Cinema of the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival.

Skarsgård, a long-time friend of the Sarajevo Film Festival and a curator and one of the patrons of the Katrin Cartlidge Foundation, whose scholarships were awarded at the Sarajevo Film Festival, awarded a scholarship to Juanita Wilson at the 15th edition of the Festival (2009).

After the presentation of the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo to Skarsgård, the film 'Sentimental Value' by Joachim Trier was screened at the Coca-Cola Summer Cinema, the SFF announced.
