Five-year-old Roma boy entertains Sarajevans to earn a living

A boy of Roma nationality has been playing the accordion and entertaining passers-by for days in the very center of Sarajevo, near the Eternal Flame, despite the adverse weather conditions, writes the Patria News Agency. Passers-by are generous towards this little boy who, in a conversation with a NAP reporter, said he is five years old and that he helps his family, who live in very difficult circumstances, in this way.

People from nearby shops bring food to this boy, and since he was getting wet, a street vendor selling umbrellas gifted one to this boy, who expressed his gratitude by playing her a song. Otherwise, it is rare for passers-by not to stop next to this five-year-old who is a true little accordion virtuoso.

His favorite tunes are sevdalinka songs, but also the unavoidable song when it comes to Roma, "Ederlezi" from the film "Time of the Gypsies". The boy even plays upon request for Sarajevans drinking coffee in nearby gardens.
