Exhibition "Rescuers" by the Center for Post-Conflict Research Opened

In Visoko, on Džemal Bijedić Square, the exhibition "Rescuers" was opened yesterday as part of the "Ordinary Heroes" project by the Center for Post-Conflict Research (PCRC) from Sarajevo, writes the BH news agency Patria.

The exhibition in Visoko was organized in cooperation with the association "Young Volunteers", and Visoko is one of the ten Bosnian cities where this exhibition has been set up so far. As stated by Leslie Woodward from PCRC, the "Ordinary Heroes" project has been underway for a long time.

- The project consists of four parts: a photo exhibition that we opened in Visoko, educational workshops, the documentary series "Ordinary Heroes" which follows the lives of ordinary people who saved the lives of other people who are not part of their ethnic group and whom they did not know, and the fourth part of the project is the youth competition "Srđan Aleksić" which aims to collect positive stories from the local community, and we will reward the best stories. This project is supported by the Norwegian Embassy and the UN, and we recently won the first award for this project, the award for intercultural innovations. After cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the intention is to replicate the project in neighboring countries as well - said Woodward.

The exhibition "Rescuers" will be open until Wednesday until 8:00 PM.
