(Patria) - An exhibition by renowned photographer Milomir Kovačević Strašni was ceremonially opened in Sarajevo's City Hall. This exhibition, "Strašni in the City Hall," features a series of touching photographs taken on August 26, 1992, when the City Hall was hit and set ablaze during the aggression.
Numerous guests and media representatives attended the opening. Through the artist's lens, visitors will be able to experience the dramatic moments of the destruction of one of Sarajevo's most important symbols.
The photographs carry the weight of suffering, but are also a reminder of the city's unwavering spirit and its ability to create anew from the ashes. The exhibition will be open to visitors year-round, offering an opportunity for everyone who visits to connect with the past and reflect on moments we must not forget.
