17th International Economy Fair Opens in Tešanj, 502 Exhibitors Presenting

(Patria) - The 17th International Economy Fair Tešanj - BiH 2023 was officially opened today in Tešanj. The central theme of this year's Fair, held from September 27 to 30 in the neighboring municipality of Doboj Jug, covering about 20,000 square meters of exhibition space, is “Renewable Energy Sources - Energy Efficiency”.

This year, the Fair's partner country is Hungary, and the partner city is Živinice.

The organizer of this event, which will host around 500 exhibitors from 16 countries in Europe and the world, is the Association of Entrepreneurs „Biznis centar“ Jelah-Tešanj.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, thanked Hungary for accepting to be the partner country of the Fair.

"I am proud, and I believe our guests from Hungary can also be proud to be partners of such a magnificent event," stated Prime Minister Nikšić.

Congratulating on the organization of the Fair, the Federal Prime Minister said that with this event, the Municipality of Tešanj has shown maturity and announced that the next, 18th international fair, will be an additional big step forward.

Prime Minister Nikšić expressed satisfaction that a delegation from the business community of Bosnia and Herzegovina has already arranged a visit to Hungary, and expressed expectations that this year's Fair will be an additional opportunity and incentive to establish new mutual economic cooperation.

"The participation of 502 exhibitors and more than 2,200 entrepreneurs at this fair confirms all the entrepreneurial spirit that the economy of Tešanj possesses. I wish the exhibitors to feel comfortable in Tešanj, our guests from outside Bosnia and Herzegovina to feel comfortable in Bosnia and Herzegovina. And I wish everyone to understand that regional cooperation and BiH's path to the European Union have no alternative," said Prime Minister Nikšić.

Within the agenda of the 17th International Economy Fair Tešanj, several panels are planned, and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in partnership and with financial support, has supported the holding of the Fair.
