ANSWERS FROM ANUBiH We asked the Academy whether and how it responded to the strategies of the Croatian and Serbian academic elites

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Has the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 1980 until today prepared documents of national/Bosnian strategy as responses to the nationalist strategies of SANU and HAZU? If so, when were these documents published and under what title? If not, why is there no response to several dangerous strategic documents of the academies in Belgrade and Zagreb? Why has the Academy of Sciences and Arts been rather rarely involved in creating political and other strategic goals of Bosnian politics from Dayton until today?

These are the questions posed to the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which recently has new members, so it is hoped that on the waves of new forces it will be more productive in creating thought and ideas for the defense and survival of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

We transmit the response of ANUBiH in its entirety: 

"The Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina has published at least 30 publications in the last five years alone, which are the result of scientific projects and conferences on the topic of the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are attaching some of them for you. 

For your information, during this year the Academy organized the promotion of the journal Dijalog, which published papers from the conference held this year on the occasion of marking 30 years of independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its admission to the United Nations. 

Last week (November 30) an international scientific conference was held on the Political-Legal and Legislative Position of the City of Sarajevo in the System of Local Self-Government in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Possibilities for Reform of Competences and Territorial Organization. We expected your arrival at the conference because we sent you an invitation, believing that in personal contact and conversation with our members you would get much better and more quality answers to the questions you sent us by email. We are sincerely sorry that you did not attend the conference. The Patria News Agency has been on our mailing list since its founding and regularly receives invitations and notices about all our activities.

In October 2021, the Academy organized a press conference and issued a public statement regarding the threat to peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
