(Patria) - Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić welcomed the High Representative's decisions that ensure fairness in the management of public funds at the state level, as well as the decision that finally guarantees fairness in the electoral process.
"The debt of lower administrative units must be borne by those who caused the debt. The payment of an amount reciprocal to the debt of the RS into the budget of the Federation of BiH is a welcome step in ensuring the management of funds collected from fuel excise duties. We expect a fair distribution of the total amount in accordance with the methodology we need to establish on fair grounds. The Federation of BiH is the bearer of the state's development and we insist that future distributions, to the extent possible, reflect the real situation and the ratio of payments," stated Nikšić.

Regarding new technologies in the electoral process, he stated that it is superfluous to waste words explaining the importance of introducing new technologies and protecting the electoral process from electoral theft and manipulation.
"This is the most important measure for genuine democratization of the electoral process and protection of citizens' rights so that the election result truthfully reflects their will," emphasized Nikšić.
Incidentally, 304 million KM have been collected in a special account of the Central Bank of BiH, but coalition partners have been unable to agree on coefficients for more than two years. Federal Minister of Finance Toni Kraljević has repeatedly refused to support the distribution, believing that the Federation of BiH is entitled to a larger portion than provided for by the coefficients.
