SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The President of the BiH entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that RS and its people are with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and with the people in Kosovo.
Dodik emphasized that "in RS, we are closely monitoring the manner and arrogance with which foreigners are trying to motivate Prime Minister Albin Kurti and others to violently attack the justified demands and the Serbs themselves in Kosovo.".
Dodik said that the issue of the position of Serbs in Kosovo is not just an issue for them and Serbia, but also for Serbs in Republika Srpska.
- I have been in constant contact with the President of Serbia regarding these issues for many days now and I am aware of the details, the determination and the stance of the President and the state leadership of Serbia to preserve and support our people, Dodik told Pink.
He stated that Republika Srpska is not satisfied with its status and the attitude of foreigners towards its status, and if anyone thinks they have finished their work here, they must understand that this is not the case.
Republika Srpska, Dodik pointed out, is waiting for the moment when it will be clear to everyone that foreigners cannot be trusted.
- We cannot accept their interventions, especially their recent arrogance, which aims to blame Republika Srpska, whether it exists or not, for everything, and of course Serbia as well, so it is absolutely clear that Serbia cannot give up on several important things, and that is the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, as our state and mother issue, and the issue of relations with Russia, Dodik added.
The President of RS emphasized that Serbia does not want to undermine its centuries-old friendship with the Russians, and therefore the West cannot understand the President of Serbia, nor the Serbs in Republika Srpska, nor the Serbs as a whole.
- It is evident that Germany is trying to lecture us, Serbia, and the Serbs as a whole with its arrogant policy, Dodik emphasized.
He recalled, as reported by RTRS, the First and Second World Wars, as well as Hans-Dietrich Genscher, who broke up Yugoslavia by demanding the hasty recognition of Slovenia and Croatia and contributed to the outbreak of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- If anyone is to blame for the 'civil' war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is the interventionist policy of Germany at the time, Dodik stated.
He believes that after former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, some have returned to the scene with a lack of knowledge about geopolitics, even about historical issues, but they are trying to lecture us here about Kosovo itself and about Republika Srpska, believing that they should simply be followed and that nothing will be gained from it.
According to him, they do not understand that Serbs as a people have never wanted to gain something at the expense of losing their freedom.
- They will never understand that, which is why we must be united, and that is why in the coming days, whatever happens, we will stand with President Vučić and the leadership and the Serbs in Kosovo, and we will do everything to ease their situation, Dodik concluded.
