(Patria) - Narod i Pravda has cancelled its final pre-election rally, which was scheduled for today at 7 p.m. in Ilijaš.
"With deep sorrow and genuine concern and anxiety, we are following the news from Konjic, Jablanica, Kiseljak and other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which have been struggling with severe floods since last night. Unfortunately, there have also been loss of human life, for which our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the families of the victims, as well as with all the people affected by the floods.
At a time when many citizens are losing their homes and their lives are endangered, we consider it unacceptable to hold political rallies.
Instead, we are directing all our attention and all our resources where they are most needed – to Konjic, Jablanica, Kiseljak, Fojnica and other affected towns.
We call on our members, supporters, and all citizens to join the relief efforts, and to be with those most affected by this disaster in our prayers. Let solidarity and humanity be paramount in these difficult times.
