(Patria) - The best city to live in 2025 is Copenhagen, according to the latest report by The Economist Intelligence Unit.

The Danish capital thus took the leading position from Vienna, which had been at the very top of the quality of life rankings for the previous three years.

This list is based on several factors, including political stability, safety, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and cultural and environmental sustainability.

Copenhagen stood out particularly for its innovations in urban development, promotion of cycling, investment in sustainable energy, and affordable public services.

Australian cities also dominated the list this year - Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane - all within the top 15.

Switzerland also has a strong presence with Zurich and Geneva at the very top. This testifies to the high level of order, safety, and living standards in these countries.

Osaka and Tokyo remain the highest-rated Asian cities, noted for their high standards of healthcare and safety. Their stability, transport connectivity, and exceptional efficiency of public services contribute to their reputation among global metropolises.

Amsterdam, Helsinki, and Frankfurt secured solid places in the upper part of the rankings, thanks to political stability, environmental awareness, and high quality of education and culture.

Vienna, despite falling to second place, remains a symbol of excellent urban organization and living standards.

The Economist Intelligence Unit's annual list is increasingly becoming a reference point for those planning to relocate, study, or invest.

Cities that consistently rank high often attract international companies, digital nomads, and professionals from various sectors, which further contributes to their development.
