Mešković: Ceca is responsible for many tragedies in BiH, all citizens should boycott her concerts

The President of the Association of Camp Detainees of BiH, Jasmin Mešković, told the BiH news agency Patria (NAP) that the policy pursued by Serbian folk singer Ceca during the Serbian aggression against BiH harmed not only Bosniaks but all peoples who lived and still live in BiH.

The Serbian singer, wife of the convicted war criminal Željko Ražnatović Arkan, announced a concert for August 30 this year at the Slavija stadium in Lukavica, and a few weeks earlier she also sang in Modriča.

The announcement of Ceca's concert in BiH has caused outrage among many in the country who experienced the ordeal firsthand during the Serbian aggression against BiH, for which her murdered husband Arkan, a criminal responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Bosniak civilians, is largely to blame.

Ceca has never publicly distanced herself from her husband's crimes, and there is clear evidence and witnesses that she herself participated in the organization and planning of the persecution, looting, and killing of the non-Serb population in BiH during the Serbian aggression, writes NAP.

Mešković called on all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina to boycott Ceca's concert in Lukavica, stating that such a person and the policy she pursued in previous years do not deserve the attention of any citizen of our country, regardless of whether they are Bosniaks, Serbs, or Croats.

- Among the audience who will come to Ceca's concert, there are certainly those who lost body parts, suffered trauma, or lost their property or, even worse, their loved ones during the aggression against BiH. All of them should know that their tragedy, regardless of the nation, is the result of the bloody policy that Ceca supported during the aggression against BiH – said Mešković, writes NAP.
