Little Masks for Nikolina Friganović and Ljubiša Savanović

(Patria) - On the second night of the 21st International Comedy Festival "Mostarska liska", the play "Hrkači"
by author and director Nikola Pejaković, produced by the National Theatre of the Republic of Srpska from Banja Luka, was performed. The Little Mask for the best actress of the evening was won by Nikolina Friganović, while the Little Mask for the best actor of the evening was won by Ljubiša Savanović.

"I haven't performed in Mostar for a very long time. When I met one of your work colleagues here today, I commented on how my life has somehow changed from a bench in front of this theatre. From that moment on, some extremely beautiful things started happening in my life. So, 'Mostarska liska' and performing in Mostar, several times, makes me especially happy, and after every visit to Mostar, some turbulent but always positive things have happened in my life. I hope this visit will also be an occasion for a new experience," said Friganović.

"Let's not lie, it's always nice to receive an award. I am happy, of course, for Nikolina, but Danilo and Miljka, who act in the play and have made wonderful roles, and even Miodrag with this one small sweet episode, are also deserving. All of this together makes this play what it is. We have been coming here for years. We always try to present ourselves with a good comedy. This is a festival that nurtures comedy, which is an immediate plus with the audience, and I think there is a lack of such things, especially in this madness we are all living in. We all need more laughter and something to make us forget for a few hours," emphasized Savanović.

Today's festival program includes the play "Mistero buffo" by Dario Fo, directed by Lea Delong, produced by the Artistic Organization Grupa from Zagreb.
