Komšić ceremonially opened new production facilities of Japanese company Tsubaki-Nakashima TN Bosnia in Konjic

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić ceremonially opened new production facilities of the company Tsubaki-Nakashima TN Bosnia d.o.o. in Konjic.

The Japanese company, which is expanding production at the Konjic factory, is engaged in the production of bearing components and rollers, and all products are exported worldwide for the automotive industry.

The factory in Konjic currently employs 330 workers, with intentions for growth and progress in the future, given that the number of workers has tripled in the last seven months, with employment opportunities provided to young people from Konjic and surrounding areas.

Komšić opened the new facilities together with the Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, and the company director, Zlatko Hadžimahović.

On this occasion, Komšić told those present that such an investment is a great thing, not only for this local community but also for the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- The investment itself, foreign investment, employing new people, a better life for people in your local community is a great thing. I believe most people know that when we talk about Japan and Japanese companies, they are characterized by precision, almost perfect work organization, and an honest approach in every business.

I hope this will be just the first step and that the good news will spread further. I hope that other Japanese companies will come to Bosnia and Herzegovina, whether to Konjic or to some other local community. I wish you much luck and success in your work, I am sure this will be a very successful company - said Komšić.

He added at the end that such an investment is a good example and an indicator of how things in Bosnia and Herzegovina can move faster, better, and with higher quality on the economic front.
