What is the difference between the cheapest and most expensive plane ticket?

(Patria) - When you book your seat on a passenger plane, you have the option to choose from several options, depending on how much you want to spend, writes Punkufer.hr.

American digital content creator Ryan Trahan tried out four different seats on Etihad's Airbus A380 on the New York - Singapore route.

He wanted to test how much value you actually get for a certain amount of money, and shared his experiences on YouTube.

He chose Etihad Airways because this airline offers the most expensive tickets on a passenger plane.

More precisely, they offer the so-called Residence or three-room penthouse on the plane, which covers about 12 square meters of space divided into a living room, a bedroom with a bed, and a private bathroom with a shower cabin.

The ticket for the Residence costs around 24,000 US dollars, and includes a gourmet selection of dishes of your choice, a private refrigerator with water and soft drinks, pajamas, slippers, a face mask, and designer-branded facial and body care cosmetics.

With the Residence, you also get access to a private lounge with a chef, as well as bodyguards who will escort you to and from the plane, Trahan reveals in his video.

A seat in business class is somewhat more modest in size, but also significantly lower in price - between 2,700 and 4,000 dollars, depending on the date and destination.

There you will get an enclosed cabin with a comfortable seat that can be extended into a bed with appropriate pillows and blankets.

You also have at your disposal a special menu with imaginative dishes and drinks, as well as attentive staff.

The smallest differences he noticed were between the Basic and Basic Plus seats. These are the cheapest tickets on the mentioned plane and on the given destination, with a starting price of around 1,100 dollars, which come with a seat and only 10, or 58 centimeters of legroom, respectively.

The food in these two seats was the same - most often you will be served some type of curry and rice.

- This is the best meal I have ever tried on a plane - Ryan says in the video while sitting in a Basic seat.

What Ryan Trahan experienced in four different seats on the Airbus plane during his trip from New York via Abu Dhabi to Singapore and back, check out in his video below.
