Kituša: I begged at the soup kitchen for iftar for martyr families

Martyrs and their families are forgotten, and proof of this is that during Ramadan I went and begged at the soup kitchen for martyr families to come for iftar in the evening, said Bahrija Kituša, president of the Association of Families of Martyrs and Fallen Soldiers of Sarajevo Canton, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

- These families have nothing to live on. We distributed 600 humanitarian packages with a Turkish humanitarian organization, they cry that they have nothing to break their fast with – states Kituša.

The second day of Eid al-Fitr is marked as Martyrs' Day, and many families welcomed Eid without a roof over their heads, with unresolved status and without any rights. Thousands of parents whose children gave their lives for this country, instead of the joy of Eid today, visited cemeteries and the final resting places of their descendants, writes NAP.
